Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public broad access to court records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The Mason County Clerk keeps the 51st Circuit Court files for civil, criminal, family, and personal protection cases, and issues vital records. The 79th District Court handles traffic, misdemeanors, small claims, and landlord-tenant matters. The Probate Court covers estates, wills, and guardianships. The Sheriff runs the jail. Most case searches route through MiCOURT, the statewide system, while other county records fall under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act. We pull the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each office into one place.

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
